The story: I'm a plant person, especially orchids. I did an inspection in Mar Vista and the house was empty and being remodeled for sale.  I noticed  a few orchids in a small tree out front.  I mentioned it to the owners who had inherited the home from their father.  They said "Yes, my father had lots of orchids.  He had pots and pots of them everywhere."  I said: "What happened to them?"  They said: "We threw them all in a big dumpster." Needless to say, I rescued the two orchids that were left.  I rescue plants, especially orchids.
